Russian steelmaker, Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK), reported a
net loss of US$205 million in Q3, compared to same period of last year
of gain US$43 million.
Its revenue increased to US$2.43 billion in Q3 from US$2.055 billion
year on year. However, EBITDA were down to US$ 350 million from US$388
million.
In the first nine months of 2011, MMK posted a net loss of US$58 million
from US$ 190 million profit year-on-year. Its revenue rose by 22% from
January to September to US$ 7.063 billion.
