March 4 witnessed the lowest electricity consumption in iron-making plant for sintered ore per ton produced. The consumption was 37.8 degree per ton when the ironmaking plant was 100 percent utilization rate in operation, a drop of 1.85 degrees lower than the targeted data for 2019, and the best performance in recent half a year.
The ironmaking plant tried to reduce the electricity consumption for per ton sintered ore produced by all kinds of means.
From the management aspect, the plant stops two 710KW central cooling machine in western part of the plant and stops one 500KW central cooling machine in the eastern part, which not only meets the requirement of production, but also realizes the target of electricity consumption reduction.
From the facility aspect, the plant plugs up the leakage in sintering mill, central cooling machine and dust-blower machine, which effectively reduce the ratio of wind linkage. Meanwhile, the plant also takes strict operation in fuel crushing system and raw materials supply system, shutting them down when the work ends.
From the technology aspect, the plant takes full use of heat resources in a bid to reduce the power energy consumption.
