I Steel
SteelHome (China) Steel Price Index
(SHCNSI)
was 97.08 points (4,199 yuan) on 26 June 2019, up 0.01 point from the
previous trading day. Steel price in key markets was basically stable.
Details are as below:
Construction steel:
20mm HRB400 rebar averaged at 4016 yuan per ton, up 1 yuan/t from
previous trading day. Price was increased by 10-30 yuan/t except
stability in Jinan, Zhengzhou, Taiyuan and Urumqi markets, while
decreased by 20 yuan/t in Nanjing market. The rest was stable.
Medium plate:
20mm Q235B medium plat price averaged at 3998 yuan per ton in 28
domestic markets, down 1 yuan/t from previous trading day. Price hiked
by 20 yuan/t in Hangzhou and Wuhan markets, while decreased by 10-30
yuan/t in Fuzhou, Nanchang, Beijing and Tianjin markets. The rest was
stable.
HRC:
5.75mm Q235B HRC average price was dropped by 2 yuan to 3906 yuan per
ton in 28 domestic markets. Among the whole markets, price went down by
20-30 yuan/t in Shanghai, Wuxi, Beijing and Harbin markets, while hiked
by 20 yuan/t in Wuhan and Urumqi markets. The rest was stable.
CRC:
average price of 1.0mm SPCC CRC was 4242 yuan per ton in 28 domestic
markets, unchanged from previous trading day. Price was stable except 20
yuan rise in Guiyang market and 20 yuan reduction in Tianjin market.

II Raw Materials
On 26 June, Tangshan common billet price was stable at 3600 yuan per
ton, (cash, tax included, ex-works). Spot products in Tangshan billet
market were priced at 3670-3680 yuan per with flat transaction.
On 26 June, iron ore market saw fluctuation. SteelHome data showed that
China Domestic Iron Ore Price Index (SHCNDOI)
65%
was 891 yuan per ton, up 4 yuan/t and SteelHome Imported Iron Ore
Price Index (SHCNIOI) 62% was 115.4
dollars per ton, down 0.11 dollar/t from previous day.
Spot ore transacting price declined at the beginning and then hiked at
China ports, For instance, PB fines trading price was 840 yuan per ton
at Qingdao port and Newman Fines at Tianjin port were traded at 860 yuan
per ton with sparse transactions.
Seaborne market headed up. COREX platform trading price was 113.8
dollars/t for 0.17 million tons 61%PB Fines with laycan during 13-22
July 2019.
