Scrap price in Hebei province softens on Wednesday.
Then 6-10mm HMS2 in Tangshan is relatively stable at 2750 yuan/t, flat from the previous trading day.
Meanwhile, scrap sellers are active for the scrap price rising in the near term, for the reason of tight scrap supply on the overall market and the proposal of environmental protection and production limitations in Tangshan for August released. Meanwhile, for steelmakers, they are inactive for raising scrap purchase price, due to the burning issue on the overall cost and no significant improvement in the volume of goods arrived after the previous rise in scarp price.
