According to the latest data released by China’s National Bureau of Statistics on August 27, in Jan-Jul 2019, the prime operating revenue of industrial enterprises above designated size reached 59.58 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.9% on year. The prime operating revenue of mining industry was 2589.425 billion yuan, up 5.5% on year.
Of this, the operating revenue of coal mining and washing industry reached 1.3691 trillion yuan, an increase of 3.6% on year.
From January to July 2019, gross profit of industrial enterprises above designated size reached 3.4977 trillion yuan, down 1.7% on year. Gross profit of mining industry was 335.44 billion yuan, an increase of 4.2% on year.
Among them, the coal mining and washing industry achieved a total profit of 166.9 billion yuan, down 3.8% on year.
In addition, from Jan-Jul, the operating cost of coal mining and washing industry was 974.55 billion yuan, an increase of 5.9% from the same period of last year. The operating cost of the mining industry was 1860.21 billion yuan, an increase of 6.4% on year.
