According to the latest data released by Ordos Bureau of Statistics, 192 enterprises above designated size in Ordos produced 559.074 million tons of raw coal in Jan-Oct 2019, up 9.8% on a yearly basis.
Among them, due to the small fluctuations in the average price of coal, the growth rate of raw coal production in Ordos slowed down in October. In October 2019, Ordos produced 56.751 million tons of raw coal, up 0.6% on year.
In October, Ordos sold 48.7 million tons of coal, a decrease of 5.12 million tons or 9.5% on year. Among them, local coal mines sold 37.8 million tons of coal, a decrease of 3.24 million tons or 7.9% on year; National Energy Group sold 10.9 million tons of coal, a year-on-year decrease of 1.88 million tons or 14.7% on a yearly basis.
From January to October, Ordos sold 588.11 million tons of coal, an increase of 24.71 million tons or 4.4% on year. Among them, local coal mines sold 474.5 million tons of coal, an increase of 6.1% on year; National Energy Group sold 113.61 million tons of coal, a decrease of 2.2% on year.
