According to data released by the Henan Coal Mine Safety Supervision Bureau, from January to October 2019, coal mines in Henan province produced a total of 87.915 million tons of raw coal, a decrease of 2.6347 million tons, down 2.9% on year.
Of this, raw coal output from key mines (owned by the provincial government or branches of central government-owned companies) stood at 82.0388 million tons during the period, dropping by 2.2343 million or 2.7% year on year. The output from local mines (owned by governments at the prefecture and lower levels and private operators) fell by 6.4% on year to 5.8762 million tons.
In the first ten months of 2019, Henan Energy and Chemical Industry Group, the province's largest producer, produced 38.8383 million tons of raw coal, up 1.1% on year, followed by China Pingmei Shenma Group, whose raw coal output stood at 27.6666 million tons, down 5.2% from the year prior.
Zhengzhou Coal Group produced 9.5 million tons of raw coal, dropping 11.9% on a yearly basis.
The output of Shenhuo Group totaled 3.8836 million tons, up 2.6% year on year.
SDIC Henan Branch produced 2.0352 million tons of raw coal, up 185,700 tons or 10% on a yearly basis.
The output of Coal-bed Methane Company in Henan Province reached 33,100 tons, down 79.7% year on year.
Henan Provincial Coal Group produced 82,000 tons of raw coal, decreasing 11.6% on year.
According to jurisdictions, from January to October, Zhengzhou Branch produced 16.2117 million tons of raw coal. Western Hebei Branch produced 15.1568 million tons of raw coal and Northern Hebei Bureau produced 13.1013 million tons of raw coal. The production of raw coal in Southern Hebei Bureau was 30.7249 million tons. Eastern Hebei Bureau produced 12.2203 million tons of raw coal.
