According to Shanxi Provincial Bureau of Statistics, raw coal output from Shanxi industrial enterprises above designated size reached 85.954 million tons in April 2020, up by 5.1% from last year.
From January to April in 2020, accumulative output of raw coal from Shanxi industrial enterprises above designated size hit 309.052 million tons, up 2.2% year on year. Its growth rate increased by 1.1 percentage point from last 3 months.
In April, added value of coal industry went up by 2.6% from the year before while added value of coking industry increased by 7.9% on a year basis.
In addition, coke output from Shanxi industrial enterprises above designated size hit 8.866 million tons in April, 2020, up 6.2% year on year and its total output from January to April in 2020 was 31.885 million tons, grew by 0.6% from previous year.
