According to statistics from JSW Steel, the largest integrated steel manufacturer in India, the firm’s crude steel production totaled around 1.33 million tons in November, slightly falling by 0.7% compared to the previous month while up by 3% from the same month a year ago.
JSW Steel’s production of steel plates had a year-on-year increase of 6% to 961,000 tons, and that of long products fell by 1% year on year to around 295,000 tons.
The average capacity utilization rate in November kept flat at 89%.
