JSW Steel, a leading steel manufacturer in India, said the company’s consolidated crude steel production reached 2.04 million tons in July, increasing by 18.25% compared to the same month a year earlier.
In July, the company’s crude steel output from its domestic operations totaled 1.97 million tons, a year-on-year growth of 10%.
Besides, JSW Steel USA Ohio plant also recorded a year-on-year surge of 96% in its crude steel output, totaling 67,000 tons.
Due to the growing domestic demand, JSW Steel planned to expand its production capacity to 37 million tons per year by the April 2024-March 2025 fiscal year.
