The Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) of Malaysia stated that Malaysia has begun a review of anti-dumping (AD) duties on galvanized steel coils/sheets imported from China and Vietnam.
The duties, with a rate from 0% to 16.13%, took effect on March 8, 2019 and will expire on March 7, 2024.
The MITI is currently collecting relevant opinions from all interested parties. Comments should be submitted before September 30, 2023.
The products involved are flat-rolled products of steel alloy or non-alloy steel, plated or coated with zinc, using the hot dip process, classified under HS codes and ASEAN Harmonised Tariff Nomenclature (AHTN) 7210411100, 7210411200, 7210411900, 7210419100, 7210419900, 7210491100, 7210491400, 7210491500, 7210491600, 7210491700, 7210491800, 7210491900, 7210499100, 7210499900, 7212301100, 7212301200, 7212301300, 7212301400, 7212301900, 7212309000, 7225929000, 7225999000, 7226991100, 7226991900, 7226999100, and 7226999900.
