About Steel:
From
Monday to Thursday this week, the domestic spot prices of steel mixed. The
prices of construction steel mixed with up or down by 10-60 yuan/ton; The prices
plate and HRC decreased by 10-60 yuan/ton; The prices of CRC increased by 10-50
yuan/ton; The price of large and medium-sized section steel increased by 10-50
yuan/ton in some markets; In terms of stainless steel, the prices of 304 and 201
series stainless steel declined by 50 yuan/ton in some markets, while the prices
of 430 series stainless steel remained stable.
About raw materials:
The price of metallurgical coke increased by 100-110 yuan/ton in some markets,
the price of coking coal increased by 100-200 yuan/ton in some markets, and the
price of PCI also increased.
The
price of imported iron ore fluctuated with downward trend, with the seaborne
price of 61.5% PB fine falling by $4 to $120 per ton; The domestic prices of
semis declined, and as of Thursday, the Ex-work price of billets in the Qian'an
area of Tangshan declined by 40 yuan to 3530 yuan/ton, and spot billet in the
market were traded to 3580-3590 yuan/ton; The domestic scrap price mixed with up
or down in different markets.
About Futures:
Futures price changes from Monday to Thursday: Rebar decreased by 1.6%, HRC
decreased by 1.26%, stainless steel decreased by nearly 2%, iron ore decreased
by 2.8%, coking coal increased by 1.1%, coke slightly decreased by 0.44%,
ferrosilicon increased by 0.72%, and silicon-manganese decreased by 2.4%.
About Inventory and Transaction:
This week, the total domestic steel inventory was 18.5594 million tons, a
decrease of 503,200 tons compared to the previous week. Among them, market
inventory decreased by 314,900 tons, and steel mill inventory increased by
188,300 tons. The daily average trading volume of rebar, plate, and HRC was
64,200 tons, 20,800 tons, and 21,100 tons, respectively, a decrease of 8.77%, an
increase of 3.44%, and a decrease of 3.25% compared to the previous period.
About Production:
This
week, the operating rate of domestic steel mills' blast furnaces was 91.12%, an
increase of 0.06 percentage points, while the operating rate of electric arc
furnaces was 61.31%, an increase of 0.73 percentage points.
