About Steel:
From Monday to Tuesday this week, the domestic spot price of steel mainly
increased, with construction steel prices increasing by 10-60 yuan/ton, HRC
prices increasing by 10-60 yuan/ton, plate prices increasing by 10-40 yuan/ton
in most markets, and decreasing by 10-50 yuan/ton in a few markets, and CRC
prices in most markets increased by 10-30 yuan/ton. In terms of stainless steel,
the prices of 304 series stainless steel increased by 50 yuan/ton, the prices of
201 series stainless steel in some markets decreased by 50 yuan/ton, and the
price of 430 series stainless steel remained stable mainly.
About raw materials:
From Monday to Tuesday this week, the domestic prices of metallurgical coke and
PCI mainly remained stable, whi the prices of coking coal declined in some
markets.
The
prices of imported iron ore fluctuated with upward trend, with the prices of
61.5% PB fine rising by $4 to $119 per ton, and steel mills maintaining
on-demand procurement; The domestic price of steel billets slightly increased,
with the Ex-work price of carbon billet in Qian'an area of Tangshan increasing
by 20 yuan to 3430 yuan/ton as of this Tuesday; The domestic price of scrap
declined in some markets.
About Ferrous Futures:
Futures price changes from Monday to Tuesday: Rebar increased by 0.75%, HRC
increased by 1%, stainless steel remained flat, iron ore and coke both increased
by nearly 3%, coke increased by 3.36%, ferrosilicon slightly decreased by 0.28%,
and silicon manganese slightly increased by 0.12%.
