According to statistics from the General Department of Vietnam Customs, Vietnam's steel exports totaled around 908,000 tons in October, increasing by 5% compared to the previous month. The export value was approximately US$656 million, a year-on-year increase of 7.5%.
In the first ten months of this year, Vietnam's steel exports amounted to 9.1 million tons, up by 30.7% year on year. The value generated by these exports totaled roughly US$6.95 billion, a slight year-on-year increase of 0.1%.
In 2023, the main export destinations of Vietnam’s steel products included Italy, Cambodia, the US, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Belgium, Spain, and Taiwan.
