As per the customs statistics, China's steel exports reached 8.005
million tons in November, up 43.2% or 2.415 million tons; an increase of
66,000 tons from the previous month, with an average daily increase of
4.2%; while imports came in at 614,000 tons, down 18.4% or 138,000 tons,
down 54,000 tons from the previous month, with an average daily decline
of 5%.
Between January and November, China's total steel exports were 82.658
million tons, up 21.696 million tons or 35.6%; its total steel imports
were 6.98 million tons, down 2.885 million tons or 29.2%.
