In November, Ukraine’s semi-finished products exports totaled about 70,000 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 36.3% and a year-on-year drop of 21.8%. The export value was US$32.5 million, falling by 38.5% from the previous month and by 38.7% from the same month a year ago.
Meanwhile, iron ore exports went up by 27.7% month on month and by 50% year on year to 1.96 million tons. The export value amounted to US$155 million, growing by 6.2% month on month and by 44% year on year.
In the first eleven months of this year, Ukraine’s semi-finished products exports amounted to 1.1 million tons, falling by 40% from the corresponding period a year ago. During the same period, iron ore exports were 16.1 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 30.5%.
