According to a report of the International Nickel Study Group (INSG), the global nickel supply market had a surplus of 32,200 tons in October, a significant increase from the surplus of 12,100 tons in the same period last year.
In the first nine months of this year, the global nickel market had a surplus of 193,200 tons, more than a surplus of 72,400 tons in the corresponding period last year.
In October, global mined nickel output was 306,100 tons, refined nickel output was 291,300 tons, and refined nickel consumption was 259,000 tons. The output of mined nickel in the first ten months of this year amounted to around 3.05 million tons, that of refined nickel was 2.8 million tons, and the consumption of refined nickel was 2.6 million tons.
