The World Bank warned on Tuesday that global economic growth is expected to slow for the third consecutive year in 2024. The poverty and debt levels in many developing countries are projected to continue deteriorating.
Global GDP growth is forecasted to be 2.4% in 2024, the World Bank noted in its latest Global Economic Prospects report. Meanwhile, the World Bank has revised its prediction for global GDP growth in 2025 from 3% down to 2.7%.
