On January 11, China Railway Inspection and Certification Center Co., Ltd. organized a review meeting in Baotou City for the "Trial Assessment Report of Asymmetric Cross-section 60AT1 U75VH Online Heat-treated Rail for Baotou Steel Railway Turnouts." Experts and representatives from China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. and other relevant units attended the meeting. During the meeting, the 60AT1 U75VH heat-treated rail from Baotou Steel passed the CRCC certification.

It is understood that the 60AT1 U75VH heat-treated rail is a high-strength heat-treated turnout rail for domestic conventional-speed railways. In response to market demands and the structural adjustment of the group's product varieties, researchers from Baotou Steel, in collaboration with on-site technical personnel, addressed issues such as low and uneven rail performance, deformation control, and bending control during the rolling and heat treatment processes. Through internal control of composition, hole design, and optimization of heat treatment cooling processes, the produced heat-treated turnout rail meets industry standards in terms of mechanical performance, overall length performance, surface quality, and dimensions. The rail's performance during the assessment period was good, meeting and surpassing industry certification assessment requirements.

During the review meeting, experts listened to reports on the research and service evaluation of the 60AT1 U75VH heat-treated rail. After discussions, they unanimously agreed that the performance indicators of Baotou Steel's 60AT1 U75VH heat-treated rail meet the standard requirements, and thus it passed the trial assessment review.

The successful certification of this product further enriches and improves the variety of Baotou Steel rails, laying a solid foundation for the entry of high-value-added products into the market, and expanding production and sales scale.
