JFE Steel, the second-largest steel manufacturer in Japan, will supply its JGreeX™ green steel to Hock Seng Hoe Metal Company, a steel provider in Singapore. It is the first time for JFE Steel to sell JGreeX™ green steel to a Southeast Asian company.
Hock Seng Hoe has a goal of reducing CO2 emissions by 50% until 2028, with measures of improved logistics and reduced waste generation, aiming to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
