According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported around 14,000 tons of rebar in December last year, decreasing by 33% compared to the previous month and rising by 6% from the same month a year ago.
Among them, the exports to Canada accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 13,000 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 29.8% and a year-on-year surge of 47.8%.
The value generated by these exports totaled around US$11 million, down by 30.1% month on month and by 3.4% year on year.
