Meishan Steel, in collaboration with industry chain users, has embarked
on research and development efforts, successfully developing materials
with a strength level of 490MPa. After multiple rounds of trial
production and subsequent testing of welded pipes, including expansion,
flattening, fatigue, etc., the materials finally meet the requirements
of end users.
The high-pressure oil pipeline steel development team, in accordance
with the industry's highest testing standards, has conducted composition
and process design, delving into processing and testing processes on the
user end. Whether it's online eddy current flaw detection, offline weld
streamline and structure testing, or flattening tests and pressure
tests, all are evaluated against the strictest standards for imported
materials. During the internal process trial, the project team adjusted
and optimized the control rolling and control cooling processes based on
each round of small-scale trial results and the needs of coiling
welding, continuously improving and enhancing the quality, ultimately
controlling the material yield strength within a reasonable fluctuation
range.
Meishan Steel's developed high-pressure oil pipeline steel possesses
characteristics such as high purity, stable high performance, and high
surface quality, completely fulfilling the role of import substitution.
Overcoming initial challenges like the difficulty of batch furnace
production for small orders, and getting closer to users by providing
technical services, as the product continues to be put into use, the
order volume has gradually increased.
Currently, Meishan Steel's high-pressure oil pipeline steel has obtained
certification from multiple end-users and has the capability for
