As a notice on Energy Administration of Yunnan Province shows, there were 109 coal mines in production in Yunnan province until December 31, 2023, with a total production capacity of 65.89 million tons per year.
According to this notice, there were 48 coal mines under construction with an annual scale of 23.7 million tons.
