In January 2024, raw coal output in Panzhihua city reached 306,500 tons, up 19.03% on a yearly basis. Among them, Sichuan Chuanmei Huarong Energy yielded 306,500 tons of raw coal, up 22.11% year on year. Local mines did not produce raw coal.
In January, this city produced 247,900 tons of clean coal, a year-on-year increase of 35.61%. Among them, Chuanmei Huarong Energy produced 235,200 tons of clean coal, a year-on-year increase of 32.58%, and local coal mines produced 12,700 tons, a year-on-year increase of 135.19%.
Pangang Group consumed 843,800 tons of coal in January, up 23.31% year on year. Pangang Group Power Plant resumed power generation in accordance with regulations since January 21. This group purchased 496,300 tons of clean coal from other cities in January, down 9.69% on a yearly basis.
As of the end of January, Pangang Group stocked 297,600 tons of coking coal, down 5.31% year on year. It was calculated that it could last for 11 days, according to the daily average consumption of 26,000 tons. Pangang Group Power Plant stocked 180,200 tons of thermal coal, which could last for 36 days.
