According to the data released by Development and Reform Commission of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, in February 2024, thermal coal price in Inner Mongolia rose slightly, and coke price went down.
Ex-mines price of thermal coal in Inner Mongolia averaged 381.54 yuan/t, up 1.04% from the previous month, down 2.09% from the same period last year.
Of this, ex-mines price of lignite in eastern Inner Mongolia averaged 330.14 yuan/t, up 1.58% on month, down 0.17% on year. The ex-mines price of thermal coal in Ordos averaged 536.25 yuan/t, up 0.7% on month, down 5.3% on year.
In February 2024, monthly price of coke in Inner Mongolia averaged 1,831.25 yuan/t, down 2.33% on month, down 21.24% on year.
