China Shenhua Energy's operating income in 2023 was 343.074 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 0.4%; net profit attributable to shareholders was 59.694 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 14.3%. The basic earnings per share was 3.004 yuan, down 14.3% year on year.
Its commercial coal output in 2023 reached 324.5 million tons, and coal sales volume reached 450 million tons. Meanwhile, China Shenhua generated 212.26 billion kWh of electricity. The sales of electricity registered 199.75 billion kWh.
