According to statistics from the South Korea Iron and Steel Association, South Korea imported a total of 120,000 tons of H-beam steel from January to March 2024, a year-on-year decrease of 19.6%. Among them, 42,000 tons were imported from Japan, accounting for 35%, a year-on-year decrease of 8.7%; 32,000 tons were imported from Vietnam, accounting for 26.7%, a year-on-year decrease of 7.2%; 30,000 tons were imported from China, accounting for 25%, a year-on-year decrease of 42.2%.
