About Steel:
This
Monday to Tuesday (April 8-9), the domestic steel prices mainly increased. On
April 9, SteelHome's benchmark steel price index was 4141 yuan/ton, increased by
22 yuan/ton compared to April 7. Among which, the price index of long steel was
3693 yuan/ton, up by 31 yuan/ton; the price index of flat steel was 3956 yuan/ton,
up by 23 yuan/ton; The price index of rebar was 3593 yuan/ton, up by 38 yuan/ton;
The price index of medium and heavy plate was 3883 yuan/ton, up by 4 yuan/ton;
The price index of hot-rolled coil was 3836 yuan/ton, up by 36 yuan/ton; The
price index of cold-rolled coil was 4465 yuan/ton, up by 4 yuan/ton.
In
terms of stainless steel, the price index of stainless steel was 12580 yuan/ton,
up by 37 yuan/ton compared to April 7. Among them, the price index of 300 series
stainless steel was 16413 yuan/ton, up by 48 yuan/ton; The price index of 200
series stainless steel was 9480 yuan/ton, up by 39 yuan/ton; and the price index
of 400 series stainless steel was 8372 yuan/ton, down by 3 yuan/ton.
About raw materials:
This Monday to Tuesday, the domestic prices of metallurgical coke and coking
coal declined in some markets, and the prices of PCI decreased in some markets.
On April 9, SteelHome's import price index of 62% iron ore was $107.77/ton, up
by $9.29/ton from April 7, and the price of 61.5% PB fine in Qingdao port up by
55 yuan to 825 yuan/ton. SteelHome’s price index of ordinary carbon billet was
3383 yuan/ton, up by 69 yuan/ton. The Ex-work price of ordinary carbon billet in
the Qian'an area of Tangshan increased by 100 to 3380-3390 yuan/ton. SteelHome’s
price index of HMS was 2815 yuan/ton, up by 18 yuan/ton.
About Ferrous Futures:
Futures price from Monday to Tuesday: HRC increased by 3%, rebar increased by
3.78%, stainless steel increased by about 2%, iron ore increased by 8.88%, coke
and coke both increased by nearly 2.5%, ferrosilicon increased by 1.32%, and
silicon-manganese increased by about 2%.
