A few days ago, as the train carrying 4500 tons of iron ore departing from Bohai East Station, the traffic volume of Handan-Huanghuagang railway successfully exceeded 20 million tons this year, an increase of 101% compared with the same period in 2018, and 98% of the 2019 freight volume target was achieved.
Handan-Huanghuagang railway passes through 24 counties (cities and districts) of Handan, Xingtai, Hengshui and Cangzhou, with a total length of 468 km, mainly undertaking the transportation of ore, coal and goods along the railway in the south-central area of Hebei, south-central area of Shanxi and Northern Henan.
The freight volume of Handan-Huanghuagang railway has doubled for three consecutive years from 2.25 million tons in 2016 to 6.51 million tons in 2017 and 12.02 million tons in 2018.
