According to the final Census Bureau data from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), in February, the US’ line pipe imports reached about 22,000 tons, falling by 50.3% from the previous month and declining by 65.8% compared to the same month a year ago.
The import value was US$39.2 million, dropping by 40.5% month on month and plunging by 68.2% year on year. Among them, the leading import sources included South Korea, Mexico, Vietnam, Romania, and Italy.
