BENTELER Steel/Tube Manufacturing Corp. is expanding its Shreveport, La., facility, adding two threading lines for hot-rolled seamless steel tubes.
Construction on the US$21 million project is to begin this month, and work will be carried out in two phases.
The first phase will entail installation of the first threading line, extending the finished goods yard, enhancing rail loading capabilities and improving infrastructure. The second phases will expand the facility to allow for installation of the second threading line.
