According to a semi-annual report disclosed by China Coal Energy on August 25, the company achieved operating income of 61.032 billion yuan, up 21.3% on a yearly basis. Net profit was 3.788 billion yuan, up 39.8% from the same period of the previous year.
It is learned that China Coal Energy produced commercial coal of 50.56 million tons, thermal coal of 44.62 million tons and coking coal of 5.94 million tons in the first half of 2019.
In the first half of 2019, the cumulative sales volume of commercial coal in China Coal Energy reached 103.15 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 30.2%.
