According to the financial report for the third quarter issued on October 28, China Shenhua Group achieved 177.849 billion yuan of operating revenue in the first three quarters of 2019, decreasing 8.4% on year. Net profit stood at 37.088 billion yuan in the first three quarters, increasing 5.1% on year.
Among them, in the third quarter of 2019, the company's operating income was 61.484 billion yuan, down 7.8% year-on-year; net profit was 12.845 billion yuan, up 4.4% year-on-year.
In the first three quarters of 2019, the company's coal chemical business achieved operating revenue of 4.347 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.2%; operating costs of 3.392 billion yuan, an increase of 1.9% on a yearly basis. Gross profit margin was 22.0%, down 0.5% year-on-year.
