According to the Statistics Bureau of Shanxi Province, in October 2019, the output of raw coal and clean coal in Yangquan City decreased slightly.
In October, the output of raw coal in enterprises above designated size was 3.869 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.3%. From January to October, the output of raw coal reached 40.806 million tons, a decrease of 0.3% on a yearly basis, which continued the trend of the slight increase or decrease in raw coal output since this year.
Shanxi Provincial Statistics Bureau said that the decline in production was mainly due to the exhaustion of some coal mine resources and poor geological formations, which hindered the release of capacity.
