The Mexican Secretariat of Economy (SE) announced this Wednesday (November 4) that it decided to extend the existing anti-dumping (AD) duty of US$2.08/kilogram on galvanized steel wire mesh originating in China for another five years, staring from October 10, 2020.
The products involved are under HS codes 7314.19.02, 7314.19.03, and 7314.31.01. The review was launched by the SE based on the application filed by Mexican steelmaker Deacero.
The period of dumping investigation was from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019, and that of damage investigation was from July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2019.
