According to the industry sources, Korea’s rebar import totaled 410,000 tons from January to July, 2022,down 26.9% year-on-year.
For the first seven months, rebar import from Japan soared 12.7 percent the previous year, totaling 230,000 tons, while import from Taiwan also came to 33,000 tons respectively. On the other hand, rebar import from China was only 145,000 tons level, down 56.5 percent over the year.
