According to the Korea Iron and Steel Association, the wire rod import combined carbon and special grade totaled 82,000 tons, down 21.9 percent over year in October. For the period January to October, the wire rod imports totaled 1,054,000 tons, up 5 percent a year ago sustaining growth.
