According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey's hot-rolled coil (HRC) exports totaled around 45,000 tons in January this year, falling by 32% compared to the previous month and by 67% from the year-ago level.
Among them, the top three export destinations were Greece (around 10,200 tons, a year-on-year surge of 237.5%), Macedonia (around 10,000 tons), and Albania (around 4,400 tons, a year-on-year hike of 88.1%).
During the period, the export value of HRC in Turkey slid by 31% month on month and by 75% year on year to US$30.8 million.
