South Korea's H-beam Imports from China Increased by 98.3% from January to September y-o-y

According to statistics from the South Korea Steel Association, from January to September 2023, South Korea imported a total of 111278 tons of H-beam steel from China, a year-on-year increase of 98.3%. This is mainly due to a significant increase in imports from January to August, reaching 109227 tons. The average monthly import volume in the first eight months was 13653 tons, but the import volume in September has dropped to 2051 tons.
