According to statistics from Taiwan Customs, China's Taiwan imported around 3.2 million tons of scrap in the first 11 months of this year, increasing by 19% compared to the corresponding period a year ago.
Among them, the US was the first-largest import source, supplying around 1.2 million tons of scrap to Taiwan during the period, a year-on-year increase of 12%. Japan followed with a supply of roughly 890,000 tons, soaring by 64% year on year.
