According to data from Chinese Taiwan’s customs, in March, Taiwan’s scrap imports were about 246,000 tons, growing by 23% from the previous month.
Among them, the US accounted for the largest proportion of Taiwan’s total scrap imports, hiking by 51% month on month to about 116,000 tons. Other import sources included Japan (about 39,000 tons) and Dominica (about 15,000 tons).
