According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US hot-rolled bar export value totaled about US$49.2 million in January. Meanwhile, the US exported around 29,000 tons of hot-rolled bars, increasing by 22.7% compared to the previous month, while decreasing by 21% from the same month a year ago.
Among them, the exports to Mexico accounted for the largest proportion, amounting to 17,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 30% and a year-on-year decrease of 16%. The second exporting country was Canada, with nearly 10,000 tons.
