According to data from Indonesia’s customs, in October, Indonesia’s billet exports soared by 65.2% year on year to about 265,000 tons, but the imports dropped by 23.87% from the same month a year ago to around 276,000 tons.
In terms of exports, the Philippines and Taiwan were the first and second largest country to import Indonesia’s billet, with about 108,000 tons and 39,000 tons, respectively.
Regarding imports, Oman was the main import source, supplying around 172,000 tons. The following was Russia, with about 60,000 tons.
