According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in 2022, Turkey’s wire rod exports were 1.17 million tons, falling by 18% year on year. The export value was US$916 million, a year-on-year decrease of 12%.
Among them, the exports to Israel totaled 280,000 tons, increasing by 2.5% from the previous year. Other export countries were Romania (about 126,000 tons), Senegal (about 74,000 tons), Morocco (about 52,000 tons), Canada (about 51,000 tons), and the Netherlands (50,000 tons).
