According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in February, Turkey’s rebar exports amounted to about 301,000 tons, boosting by 45.6% year on year.
Among them, the exports to Romania were 43,000 tons. Other export destinations included Israel (decreasing by 33.8% year on year to about 30,000 tons), Yemen (dropping by 46.8% year on year to about 30,000 tons), Ethiopia (soaring by 195.5% year on year to about 27,000 tons), and Peru (about 26,000 tons).
