Feng Hsin Steel Co., Ltd., a Chinese Taiwan-based company principally engaged in manufacturing, processing, and trading steel products, declared its product prices for this week. The rebar and scrap prices increased by NT$300/ton to NT$19,500/ton and increased by NT$200/ton to NT$10,700/ton, respectively. The section steel price was kept flat at NT$26,700/ton.
Meanwhile, the prices of Japan’s H2 scrap increased to US$370/ton, and the US containerized scrap remained unchanged at US$355/ton. Australian iron ore prices decreased from US$108.8/ton to US$97.8/ton.
